A constrained City of London site with no laydown space required fully unitised, just-in-time delivery from our fabrication facility direct to the hoist.
The client targeted BREEAM Excellent and a sub-1.4 W/m²K facade U-value while maintaining floor-to-ceiling glazing across all 26 storeys.
We engineered a storey-height unitised system on a Schüco platform with split-mullion stack joints, allowing two-person installation crews to fix up to 40 units per shift.
High-performance triple-glazed insulated units with a warm-edge spacer and selective solar-control coating delivered the thermal and solar targets while preserving transparency.
A digital logistics schedule synchronised factory glazing, transport and crane lifts to a live programme, eliminating the need for on-site storage.
The facade was completed two weeks ahead of the contract programme with zero reportable safety incidents across 31,000 site hours.
Measured facade air-tightness exceeded the design target, contributing to the building achieving BREEAM Excellent certification.
