As a residential building over 18 m, the facade had to comply fully with Regulation 7(2) using only non-combustible cladding materials, with complete traceability.
The exposed waterfront location demanded enhanced weather performance and a marine-grade finish specification.
We specified an A2-s1,d0 through-coloured fibre-cement rainscreen on a non-combustible aluminium carrier system with mineral wool insulation and fully co-ordinated cavity barriers.
A combined curtain wall and window-wall package with PAS 24 opening lights provided security and weather resistance, finished in a marine-grade PPC coating.
Every product was logged into a digital golden-thread record, providing the client with full material traceability for the Building Safety Case.
Both towers achieved practical completion on programme with a fully compliant, fully documented non-combustible facade.
The development handed over 312 apartments and has been fully let, with the facade contributing to strong EPC ratings.
